For me, the mass beatification of Claretian brothers martyred in 1936, is the recognition of the immense value and the non-containable strength of the Claretian charism, both in the gestures of life, social commitment and authentic evangelization, and in the paradoxical reality of death by a cause in the purest style of Jesus.

A legitimization that today, as the Pope has just expressed in his impressive visit to Colombia, reminds us that “God wanted to become vulnerable and wanted to go out and wander with us, wanted to live our history as it was, wanted to become man in the middle of a contradiction, in the middle of something incomprehensible … and invites us, in our consecration and mission, not to be afraid in this complex earth!”.
